Want to eat fresh, locally grown vegetables? Choose the organic farms of the Family Farmers Network!

The Family Farmers Network (RFF) is a non-profit organization of 115 100% organic farms that feed more than 17,000 households each season with organic vegetable basket subscriptions across Quebec.

In the Outaouais region, seven member farms of our Network have been feeding the community, some for over 20 years, with baskets of fresh, flavorful, locally grown vegetables throughout the harvest season from June to October. These farms are: Ferme Coopérative Agricola, Ferme La Rosée, Ferme Pleines Saveurs, Ferme La Récolte, Ferme des petites victoires, La Ferme Caminoix, and Les jardins Céleste.

How do the organic vegetable basket subscriptions work? In the spring, you prepay for your organic basket from the farm of your choice for the entire season. This way, you secure and support a local farm. When the vegetables finally emerge from the ground at the beginning of summer, you pick up your weekly basket of organic vegetables at your nearest delivery point without having to reach for your wallet again. Your groceries are guaranteed for the summer! It's a shared security that creates a direct link between farms and households.

We call this Community Supported Agriculture (CSA). CSA creates a direct link between those who grow and those who eat, and participates in maintaining local agriculture. You too can be part of this movement, right here, right now, in the Outaouais region! Find your family farmers at www.fermierdefamille.org
