The winter 2026 Olympics hosted in Milan Cortina have athletes from all around Canada competing, and the Outaouais region is well represented.
Cross-country skier and Chelsea native Katherine Stewart-Jones made her first run at the 2026 Milan Olympics on Saturday, February 7, placing 45th.
Another Gatineau native cross-country skier, Antoine Cyr, made his first run at the 2026 Olympics on Sunday, February 8 placing 25th.
Cedrick Brunet native of Gatineau, competing in the men's 500 meters for speed skating, is making his Olympic debut on February 14.
